Tinnitus Masking Therapy Kit is a two disc set for Tinnitus sufferer’s. The company claims to have ten years of research behind their product and claims they use it themselves to help with their own Tinnitus symptoms. What they have concluded in part of their research is the best way to deal with Tinnitus is to learn to ignore it or habituate it. Well that certainly seems easier said than done. However, they claim they can make it easier with these CDs.

The CDs are said to be designed to use the full spectrum of your ear to retrain your ear on what Tinnitus has taken away. You can simply use a standard CD player, however it is suggested to be played in a high quality audio system to retain the most benefits. They don’t specifically state how often or how long you should listen to them for, so I would be curious to know if it is a short process or one of more time and patience.

The Ear Therapy Sound Card is an optional add on the the Sound Oasis S-650. The sound card has 12 different sound options to help you sleep or work while dealing with Tinnitus. Some of the sounds are nature sounds that include the ocean, rain, stream while others are different options of white noise to mask the Tinnitus sounds you may be hearing. Included on the sound card are six sounds that were created by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, an expert on sound therapy. These sounds were specially created to help with Tinnitus.

While the Ear Sound Therapy Card does not claim to cure your Tinnitus, it claims to help you to better cope with it by masking the sounds or adding in other distractions to your mind from the monotonous sounds you are hearing. The card does require that you have the Sound Oasis S-650 to play it as well.
