A few Acne Home Remedies

by Valerie Garner

Many times we hear clever marketing slogans like: acne free in 30 days. The truth is that for most people, products that promise miracles like this are just a waste of money. With good reason acne sufferers are looking elsewhere for effective acne treatments.

Of late there has been an increasing popularity in natural products and natural healing. As a matter of fact, home treatments for various illnesses and conditions such as acne abound on the Internet.

The words, home remedy, fill our heads with the image of an old lady brewing a "concoction" in her broken-down kitchen. However, there is no such black magic involved in making a home remedy. In fact, it's nothing more than a treatment made from ingredients and products that you are likely to find in your own home. More specifically, it means using products that are not necessarily commercialized for that particular ailment.

As an example, a modification in your diet can be considered an at home acne treatment. Toothpaste can also be used as a home remedy style "acne cream". The list of possibilities is infinite.

Here are some examples of popular home remedies for the treatment of acne.

Rose Water Solution

Rose water is a natural and gentle astringent that is used to treat sensitive and damaged skin. It is commonly used to treat inflammatory disorders like acne. By using it daily, you can greatly decrease the likelihood of acne outbreaks.

Its use is quite simple. Simply incorporate rose water into your cleansing routine right after you wash your face.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Vinegar - in all of its forms - has been used for centuries in the production of home remedies. This particular form of vinegar is used in skin care as an astringent.

Apply it in the same fashion as you would rose water, but dilute it first and test it on a small patch of skin. If need be, make the solution stronger.

Tea Tree Oil

This oil has curative properties that are known worldwide. It is used to treat illnesses such as dandruff, Candidiasis, and has even been known to fight off acne bacteria.

To use tea tree oil, it must be diluted as it can cause contact dermatitis. Since tea tree oil can dry out your skin, you may have to use an oil-free moisturizer.

Other Home Remedies

Another home remedy involves the application of strawberries or fresh mint leaves. Another natural home remedy is the use of lemon juice. It can be diluted in water to help control acne symptoms.

As I mentioned before, toothpaste is also a common home remedy for acne. Unless, of course, you suffer from severe acne. Although, many people have noticed a reduction in acne flare ups when applying a small dab on an isolated pimple.

Acne home remedies aren't a cure all for every type of acne. For example, hormonal acne may require professional intervention so it would be helpful to keep this in mind when looking for an acne home remedy that is right for you.

If you are in search of natural acne products that are effective, BIOSKINCLEAR, BIOACNECARE and BIOSKINFORTE can be the solution. These acne solutions contain biological ingredients that have been used as home acne remedies for generations. Ingredients that include snail serum and willow bark extract. Nature has been able to treat skin care problems for years, so why use chemical products when there are natural products that are just as effective, but safer.
